Today I am grateful and thankful for being reunited with such courageous and genuine friends, who have accepted and supported me and my recovery. I am here today because of their love and compassion and for that I am eternally grateful.
“Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”
I ask only for myself so that I may now be of service to those who have yet to find their own peace and serenity. I ask for strength of character, discipline of mind and purity of spirit and that I continue to be inspired by those who shine brightly and have the wisdom to learn from those that don’t.
I am mindful that:
“We forgive others not because they deserve forgiveness but because we deserve peace.”
